The view outside of my apartment is a vacant lot. It is not the best view to have, but it is better than looking right into the window of the apartment across from you. I have lived here for about a year. During this year, a lot of random things have happened in the vacant lot: miscelanueous graffiti, hookers, brick fortresses, trees come and gone, garbage, flowers, plates, food, pots, pans, tools, etc. Thinking about this past year, I wish I had taken pictures of the lot more often, to document the changes. The Vacant Lot is quite drab to look at, but there are things happening, so slowly, its hard to notice. My first pictures of the year were of the vacant lot. I hope to do an continuous update of the lot and perhaps start a new project.
